2018-2019 Policies and Registration
No personal electronic devices or cell phones are allowed in any EDA programs unless the students has specific permission from a Dean to have it on campus. The device will be turned into the EDA staff at check-in and will only be used by the student with EDA staff permission.
Snack is provided one time, soon after dismissal. Students attending practice, etc that will be checking into EDA later in the afternoon should plan to pack a snack.
Students must remain in full uniform until an EDA staff member has instructed them to change. Only students attending school-sanctioned practices and events will be allowed to change.
Students found ‘roaming’ after dismissal will be escorted to EDA and a parent will be contacted to pick the child up. Frequent ‘roamers’ will be escorted to the dean’s office and a detention may be issued.
If students have a school-sanctioned event or practice on campus, the EDA staff will be sure your child is escorted there. EDA staff is not responsible for picking students up from such events. EDA staff cannot escort students to any off-campus games or practices, to include those held at IPC, MJA, and Avon Park. Additionally, if a practice or event ends after 5:30 p.m., the student should not return to EDA. He/she should be picked up at their event location.
All EDA registration, both pre-paid plans and daily drop-in service, is done online through Active Networks. The full cost of the program will be drafted from the bank account associated with your FACTS tuition account. For FACTS questions, please contact mstewart@saa-sds.org.
Extracurricular Class registration is done online through Active Networks. All Extracurricular Class fees are due in full with registration.
